Asbestos Survey Technician
Asbestos Survey Technician

Key Responsibilities:
Performs standard and non-standard tests.
Collects data including building surveys.
Performs routine and non-routine calculations and measurements.
Writes daily reports.
Monitors work procedures of third party contractors for compliance with project specifications.

Basic/Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma
5+ years of experience with inspection of asbestos/lead/IAQ; 4+ with A.A. degree
Strong mathematical skills
Adequate oral and written communication skills
Adequate basic computer skills (e-mail, internet)
Typical certifications include: AHERA Inspector (Management Planner optional), AHERA Supervisor, NIOSH 582E, EPA/HUD Lead inspector (Risk Assessor optional)
A valid drivers license, drug screen, background check, and social security # verification.
An asbestos/lead physical exam is required to obtain medical clearance.
Flexibility to work outside normal business hours as required.

Physical Demands:

Capable of long periods of time on your feet and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds.
